Reissue of OCI

Reissue of OCI

(For OCI cardholders requiring re-issuance of OCI card due to issuance of a new passport after attaining 20 years of age, loss of OCI card, or change in personal particulars)

Step 1 - Submit Online Application

Submit your application on the OCI Services Portal: https://ociservices.gov.in/onlineOCI/ and upload the required documents listed below.

Step 2 - Book an Appointment

Following the submission of your online application, please book an appointment for an in-person visit to the Consulate General of India, Auckland. This is required for the verification of your uploaded documents against the originals, without which the application process cannot be finalised.

  • Note: Applications registered with CGI Auckland must bear a reference number beginning with NZLA. Applications bearing a reference number starting with NZLW (registered with the High Commission of India, Wellington) cannot be processed by the Consulate General of India, Auckland, even if the applicant resides within its jurisdiction (Northland, Auckland, and Waikato). In such cases, a fresh application must be submitted using a different email address, ensuring that "New Zealand - Auckland" is correctly selected as the mission.
  • Book your appointment here: https://www.cgiauckland.gov.in/apt/

  • Printout of duly filled Part A and Part B of the application generated from the OCI Portal. Part B (Declaration) must be signed by the applicant.
