Public Notice
A special Consular Camp for attestation of Life Certificate is being organised at 25 Tui Road, Papatoetoe from 10 am to 12 pm on 23 November 2025 (Sunday).
- Applications can be submitted in person only. The applicant would need to ensure the documents are fit for their purpose before the documents are brought to the Consular Camp for attestation.
The following documents are required:
- Completed and signed application form for Misc. Consular Services (can be downloaded from www.cgiauckland.gov.in.
- Original and a copy of Life Certificate which needs to be attested. Applicant should sign the document in front of the Consular Officer at the Consular Camp. Coloured copy of first & last pages of current Passport • Copy of current and valid NZ visa or OCI Card
- One passport-size photograph pasted on the application.
- If the applicant himself is unable to come to the camp, then life certificate must be authenticated by the Department of Internal Affairs ( DIA ). The documents are required to be Notarised (NOT JP attested) by a Notary Public (www.notarypublic.org.nz) and then sent to DIA for their authentication. Please visit DIA website (www.dia.govt.nz/apostille) for the authentication/apostille procedure.
- Please note: We are unable to attest Digitally signed copies.
- This Consular Camp is particularly for Life Certificate attestation and being organized to facilitate specially senior citizens. No other Consular Service will be rendered on this day at the Consular Camp.
