Over 90 members of the Indian diaspora and the Gujarati
business community gathered at the Consulate General of India,
Auckland, on Sunday, 1 November 2026, to interact with Shri Rushikesh
Patel, Hon'ble Minister of Energy & Petrochemicals, Panchayat & Rural
Housing and Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of
Gujarat, during his outreach visit to New Zealand.

In the presence of H.E. Ms Muanpuii Saiawi, High Commissioner of India
to New Zealand, and Dr Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India,
Auckland, the Hon'ble Minister shared Gujarat's development journey
and invited investors, entrepreneurs and community leaders to
participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027, to be held in
Gandhinagar from 10 to 12 January 2027. The interaction highlighted
the growing potential for deeper business and investment linkages
between Gujarat and New Zealand.
