Step 1: Procedure for Online Application:
All applicants would need to visit link https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/
Complete one-time registration and create a USER ID. Login using the newly created USER ID and fill in the application form online at the same portal.
File number is at the last page of applicant’s current passport.
Applicant must upload an ICAO-compliant photograph, a scanned copy of their signature and all other relevant documents prior to submitting the application at the portal during their application (MANDATORY)
Take a printout (in portrait orientation) of the application. (A correct application form will display the name and address of Consulate General of India, Auckland on top at the first page)
Applicants are advised to ensure accuracy of the details entered in the online Form. Kindly check your details in the form carefully before submitting it. Any Errors on the printed form cannot be modified by Pen/Pencil at a later stage. Consulate will not be responsible for any error in the application form from applicant's side and if the PCC is issued with the details filled by the applicant.
Step 2: Application Submission:
Please submit the duly filled and signed printout of application (in color) along with requisite documents as mentioned below and proof of prescribed fees, either by courier or in-person (By prior APPOINTMENT only) at the Consulate.
- Coloured copy of first & last pages of current Passport attested by Justice of Peace.
- Copy of current Valid New Zealand Visa.
- One recently taken (within 6 months) passport size photograph.
- Fee for PCC service is NZ $ 45. (Please attach transaction receipt if fee is paid by online bank transfer).
- Address proof, if there is any change from the current one on passport.
- Affidavit against Traffic convictions (sample attached: Form) duly completed and attested by Justice of Peace or Notary (Required only if PCC is required Traffic Convictions/Taxi License/Passenger Endorsement
· The applicant should use the courier service (with tracking facility) of their choice and are advised to keep the tracking number with them. The Consulate General of India will not accept any responsibility in case the courier is lost/misplaced/damaged or delayed, therefore it is suggested to not to send the application via ordinary post.
